Summer party - Casino Night
Registration is now open for the annual ENN Summer Party! Last year’s Casino night was such a great success we are doing it again this year! Here’s the scoop: When: Monday, June 10, 2024 5:30 pm – 9:00pm Where: Ebony & Vine Restaurant - 27191 Main Street, Conifer $45 per person ENN members ♣ $55 per person non-ENN members We’ll have some light appetizers and a delicious barbecue buffet with pulled pork and chicken, plus several sides and dessert. There will be a cash bar and we’ll have a Casino Night to top it off. Try your luck with 500 chips to start to play Black Jack, Texas Hold ‘Em, Roulette or Craps. Oh! You’ve run out of chips? ENN would like to encourage all members to join and use the ENN Facebook Group. The ENN Facebook page is not just for announcements. It can be used by all members to share what they or their activity groups have been up to. You can post pictures, summaries, links to community activities and events, and whatever you think might interest other ENN members. There are some limits of course. - Be kind and courteous. - Respect privacy (do not post other members’ personal information, or repost outside of the group). - No political or hurtful content or comments - No posting of promotions, advertisements or any other kind of spam. You can also find this information on the Evergreen Newcomers and Neighbors Facebook Group landing page. The Facebook Group is available for use by ENN members only and can be found by searching Evergreen Newcomers and Neighbors in the upper left corner of the Facebook home page. ENN group members can create posts and comment on other posts. Facebook users who are not members can see that the group exists but cannot see any content created by ENN members. So request to join the group if you haven’t already! You do that right on the Evergreen Newcomers and Neighbors group page. This Saturday, May 25 8:30am–12:30pm All ages and abilities are welcome! Join Ed Furlong and other Evergreen Audubon members for a very special Saturday Bird Walk on May 25, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM when we visit the seasonal bird banding station operated by Bird Conservancy of the Rockies at Denver Audubon’s Nature Center at Chatfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to see birds up close as Bird Conservancy Staff capture, band, band and release migrating and local songbirds as part of their long-term monitoring to understand bird populations and trends.
